How to use labyrinths for introspection and beginning the healing journey for finding inner peace.

Free Program In Conference Room – Sandra Wasko-Flood and Virginia LoneSky will give a life changing talk on how the simple ‘walking’ of a labyrinth pattern may help to restore calm and offer therapeutic benefits.

They will offer educational information and cover how walking, or tracing a labyrinth pattern, can offer you a moment of “inner peace” without compromising your belief system. These ancient symbols are over 4,000 years old in various forms around the world. They are scientific as well as spiritual, and have been successfully used in the 21^stcentury by healing therapists and other practitioners. Labyrinths are found in schools and hospitals, parks and prisons, and places of worship representing all beliefs and walks of life. No previous experience necessary. Come Empty. Leave Full.

Angel Fire, NM 87710. Where: On Wasko-Flood property - 26 Bonito Lane. Property is just behind the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. After you visit the Memorial, you are welcome to stop by for an old-fashioned ‘social’. Labyrinths will be laid out on the lawn for walking. Come for conversation, or walk, sit, listen, or just stop by to rest awhile. Directions: See the ‘from Taos’ directions above to the Memorial, then from the upper parking lot, follow the dirt road. Turn left on Country Club Dr. Stay up on the mountain while Country Club changes its name to Pino. Turn left onto Bonito Lane: Octagon glass house, blue roof, at 26 Bonito Lane. Look for red flag markers along the way.

                   *(Volunteers Welcome at 11:30 a.m. for set up – walk begins 1 pm lasts until 4:30 p.m.)
Saturday May 4^th, 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.  – Ac Tah will present with Sandra Wasko-Flood. You are invited to attend this Free Outdoor Walk.  Mayan  Ac Tah creates a new combination labyrinth design using the “Mirror of Orion” with “Skywalker” as the center. This is the first time the pattern will be offered to the public to walk and is dedicated to everyone to come find their own peaceful space. You may want to walk for a veteran you know, or for your own personal introspection. No pre-requisites or previous labyrinth experience is necessary.

*Where:  Vietnam Veterans Memorial - Washington D.C.  We will begin the walk at 1 p.m., the same time as others will be walking around the world. We are hoping to raise awareness of this wonderful pattern, which can bring Liberation, Harmony and Peace to all people. You are welcome to bring non-electric wind or percussion instruments. 

Living Labyrinths for Peace will present a labyrinth walk, using two labyrinths from the lineage of Mayan, Ac Tah : "Mirror Of Orion" (World Peace) and the "Sky Walker" (Inner Peace) at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, in Washington, D.C.   

We will co-ordinate and begin the walk at 1 p.m., the same time as others will be around the world.  Hoping to raise awareness of this wonderful pattern, and to bring attention to creating "Liberation and Harmony" and Peace amongst all people.  (11:30 am - 1 pm: Volunteers Welcome to Set Up Labyrinths)

Everyone is Welcome to this Free Event At the Vietnam Veterans Memorial  May 4, 1pm - 4pm People may bring an unopened bottle of drinking water, and a potted plant to be activate and taken home to be planted. Indigenous instruments (drums, rattles, didgeridoos, crystal bowls, etc.) are also welcome.

Happy New Era 2013 - I was honored to attend the 5th Year 2012 Invitation held at the Duncan Center in Delray Beach, Florida - Labyrinth Ceremony with don Oscar Miro-Quesada held on the last day of his 4 day workshop on 12-31-12.  It was an exquisite use of this ancient symbol with the overlay of the celestial and cosmic connections we hold in our DNA and through his lineage, and his mastery we were all connected and transformed, in peace, aligning to our Cosmic connections.

As practitioners of Pachakuti Mesa Tradition cross-cultural shamanism our December 21, 2012  calling must be to further assess and winnow from the ancestral wisdom lineages that have shaped us, kernels of resonance that are still vital and alive, sparks of universal gnosis and earth-honoring ritual process still burning, which might, in this seemingly darkest day of the year, light the way towards a viable future, providing warmth, inspiration, and heartfelt sacred community through which we can today be, what humankind might yet become. So is my solemn decree on this apocryphal end date of the Mayan calendar. I have thus shared my fondest dream, in visionary shamanic service to the seven generations, on this 21st day of December 2012!
