"Playing Forward"....While giving a workshop in Hawaii, we took a break and went out to the beach. The beach is a perfect place to create a simple 3 Path Labyrinth, which doesn't take a long time, and you can have a very invigorating 'walk' hearing the waves rolling in and watching the sunset in paradise.
Just begin with the simple 'seed pattern' of a cross with four dots ( found on this site), then take a stick and trace it all out. Adjust for size, then use your feet to form the paths. We walked this labyrinth then left it for other travelers and vacationers to use....I loved watching the children play on it and around it. Like the ancient sand Mandala's of the Tibetan Monks...when it is finished it just returns to its original state of being.

NELSON, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA
What is it about Canada that people just want to put Labyrinths in streets and parking lots? Yes, this labyrinth is painted in the middle of the side road, off the main street, in downtown Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. I found out that it was painted to raise awareness and funds to build another one in a park near the water. Which I can report has now been completed!
